For the First Time Ever in Egypt Across Europe and the Middle East LINKdotNET Provides its Clients with both MSN & Windows Live Combined Services by Signing Its Live@net Agreement with Microsoft

LINKdotNET, along with Microsoft, announced today the signature of an agreement to provide all LINKdotNET users with the Windows Live online platform. The agreement allows all LINKdotNET users to access the full range of Windows Live online services at no extra cost.
Windows Live, which includes the popular Hotmail and MSN Messenger programs, is an all-encompassing platform allowing users to manage their email, photos, online profile, contacts, groups, calendar and events in one place. The platform also provides users with online file storage facilities, a blog and personal webpage, photo and video editing programs, online parental controls and a Windows Live toolbar to add to the user’s browser.
"LINKdotNET is the first Internet Service Provider to offer the combined service of both MSN& Windows Live services across Europe & Middle East," said Karim Beshara, CEO LINKdotNET. "This is a testament to both the quality of our services and our commitment to providing our client base with the best services available. All our clients, from LinkDSL customers to mail users will be able to access LIVE@NET free of charge."
It is worth mentioning that LIVE@NET agreement with Microsoft brings the local media expertise of LINKdotNET together with Microsoft’s global expertise, content relationships, and international services, and is considered yet another chapter in a long line of similar successful ventures between both companies. This collaboration started off with the successful launch of MSN Arabia, which is the number one network in the region with dual-language (English and Arabic) interface offering a vast array of content and services, and MSN Maghreb, which provides the best of international and local news and entertainment content in French and delivers access to the world’s most popular online services, all in one place.
As quoted by Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft Corporation during the launch of Msn Maghreb: "Microsoft strongly believes in the power of online services, aiming at providing the most engaging and compelling content and services for this audience".
Live@Net will be available to all LINKdotNET users with customized interface very soon. |
